PM of the Nation : Narendra Modi Tweeted Today -
"All the devotees of the world always get energy from the light of Suryavanshi Lord Shri Ram. Today, on the auspicious occasion of the consecration of life in Ayodhya, my resolve has been further strengthened that the people of India should have their own solar roof top system on the roof of their houses. The first decision I have taken after returning from Ayodhya is that our government will launch “Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana” with the target of installing rooftop solar on 1 crore houses. This will not only reduce the electricity bill of the poor and middle class, but will also make India self-reliant in the field of energy."

January 22, 2024, was a brilliant and beautiful day that will live on in the pages of Indian history. On this day, decades of hardship and a final, victorious arrival at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya culminated in the much-anticipated Pran Pratishtha event presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. And just after the event Modi has tweeted a great scheme for millions of people of India.

There is no denying PMSY's ability to completely transform India's energy sector, despite these obstacles. The program has the potential to usher in a new era of energy wealth for India by providing its people with the means and instruments necessary to prosper.

To reduce reliance on conventional sources of energy -
The Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana seeks to lessen dependency on traditional energy sources, which frequently contribute to environmental deterioration, by encouraging the use of solar energy. Increasing the use of solar electricity, a clean and renewable resource, supports international efforts to halt climate change.

In conclusion, India's commitment to achieve energy independence through the broad use of solar power is shown in the Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana. In addition to addressing issues with energy security, the program promotes environmental preservation and socioeconomic growth through the use of clean and sustainable energy techniques. Maintaining current knowledge is crucial for comprehending any modifications or advancements in the scheme's execution.

How do you feel about PMSY? Do you believe it could revolutionize solar energy in India and India will also become self-reliant in the field of energy?
